Fall in Hobart means trees full of leaves and gutters that clog fast. This homeowner wanted to stop climbing ladders, so Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers installed a whole new gutter system and added Gutter Topper protection. We serve homeowners across Western Michigan and Northern Indiana.

Out with the old gutters

We tore off and hauled away the old gutters. The existing wood fascia behind them was showing some deterioration, so we wrapped 65 ft of it with white aluminum. The aluminum covering protects the wood from the weather, never needs paint, and gives the home a clean, finished look.

New seamless gutters and downspouts

We installed new seamless black gutters, 131 ft of 5″ and 33 ft of 6″ for the sections that handle the most water, with hidden hangers for strength and a clean look. The white downspouts include oversized 3×4 downspouts on the 6″ runs, so the water moves away from the home quickly.

165 ft of Black Gutter Topper

To finish, we installed 165 ft of Gutter Topper (5 ft panels) in Black to match the gutters. Gutter Topper was rated the #1 solid metal gutter cover by a leading consumer testing magazine. Leaf Terminator panels at the valleys

This home has 2 spots where a roof valley empties onto a straight gutter run. A valley funnels much more water into one area than the rest of the roof. On an inside miter we would install a B1 diverter, but these valleys land on straight runs. So at each one we cut an opening in the Gutter Topper and installed a Leaf Terminator panel on top, which lets the system take in the much larger volume of water there while still keeping leaves out.
