As the highest-credentialed contractor with CertainTeed Corporation, Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers serves a clientele exceeding 8,000 satisfied customers and has garnered a remarkable 4,000 manufacturer-certified 5 Star Ratings.
If Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers were fortunate to have installed your new roof, which included a complete removal and replacement, you can rest assured that everything beneath the roof has been protected by our superior installation material and methods, which far exceed those of our competitors. Our decades of experience demonstrate this fact.
Here’s why you can have the assurance that everything you own has been safeguarded by Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers:
When we remove all the old shingles and underlayment, we also remove key areas of the roof’s decking to inspect the attic and ensure proper cooler dryer air can enter the lowest points in the attic at the eave edges and circulate throughout the attic, pushing the warmer, hot, and humid air out through our unique ridge vent that creates the Bernoulli effect, utilizing the natural airflow to circulate and pump the warmer, humid air out of your attic. In more complex attics, we typically install a solar power vent that automatically exhausts warm/hot and humid air. These ventilation factors significantly extend the life of your roof from 20 years to 50 years while reducing energy consumption and lowering utility bills. This process also reduces snow and ice melt on your roof, decreasing the likelihood of damaging ice dams.

Following the repair of the attic ventilation system, we replaced all soiled roof decking, including any that may have been damaged by the previous roofer’s installation of inferior underlayment that may be permanently adhered to the roof decking. All roofing manufacturers require a “clean roof deck” to ensure that their ice and water underlayment will adhere properly to the roof deck and protect your home during the winter months.
With the installation of a clean roof deck, we proceeded to apply the waterproof underlayment, WinterGuard ice and water shield. This 36-inch-wide product permanently adheres to the roof deck, extending up the roof line at least two rolls wide, overlapped by 6 inches, and covering all eave edges. Furthermore, the ice and water shield is applied around all roof penetrations, including soil vent pipes, bath vents, antennas and satellite dishes, skylights, valleys, and where the lower roof meets a wall. This comprehensive installation method ensures that the roof will remain watertight during heavy rainfall, wind-driven rain, snow, and ice dams, preventing ice and water from backing up the roof line.

Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers installs higher-grade shingles than our competitors, which are heavier and come with a 130-mph wind warranty. This should lower your insurance premiums. Most of our customers select our SBS Modified rubber-based NorthGate shingles, which have the highest Class 4 Hail Impact Resistance rating. This rating lowers home insurance premiums, has greater cold-weather flexibility, increased granule adhesion, shrink resistance, and enhanced crack resistance. Additionally, our shingles have a 40 percent greater nail pull-through and tear resistance than our competitors’ shingles. When paired with our unapparelled certifications, you will receive a 50-year transferable shingle, labor, and material warranty. Independent testing facilities have rated our shingles as the most durable on the market today.

In summary, our installation methods are designed to reduce energy consumption, resulting in lower utility bills and American-made waterproof and hail-resistant products that also lower insurance premiums. By eliminating the need to replace your roof between 17 to 19 years, which is the average lifespan of our competitors our roofs last for 50 years, you can significantly reduce your long-term roofing expenses by over 50%.
