At this Berrien Springs, MI home, Dennison Roofing & Gutter Toppers completed a roof replacement with a CertainTeed Integrity Roofing System in NorthGate Driftwood shingles, with 5½ ft WinterGuard at the eaves and penetrations and RoofRunner on the balance of the roof, backed by a CertainTeed Lifetime Labor & Material Shingle Warranty with a 50-year SureStart period. After the tear-off, we replaced the damaged sections of the old board decking with new OSB. We removed the old static vents, installed CertainTeed ridge vent, added 3 soffit vents on the front porch, and installed new chimney flashing. In the attic we laid Heat Deflector Insulation, which deflects 97% of radiant heat. We removed the old gutters and installed 140 ft of new Light Bronze seamless gutters with Almond downspouts and 140 ft of Light Bronze Gutter Topper, color-matched to the Driftwood shingles. Gutter Topper was rated the #1 solid metal gutter cover by a leading consumer testing magazine and is the only gutter cover line certified by roofing manufacturers not to harm or void their warranty. We also replaced rotted trim with composite boards, rebuilt the curved trim with new wood, and put a new NorthGate Driftwood roof on the shed.
